Why We Do This
Every year, our team comes together with clients, friends, and neighbors to collect school supplies for children in our community. We believe that every child deserves to start the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed. 📚✏️
Last year, thanks to the generous support of people like you, we donated 200 fully stocked backpacks to The Road Home! This year, we’re aiming to beat that and fill even more little backpacks with possibility.

About The Road Home’s Mission
The Road Home of Dane County supports families who have experienced homelessness in building stable lives. Each August, they host the Families Moving Forward Celebration, where backpacks are distributed to hundreds of children in their housing programs. This back-to-school kickoff includes food, music, and fun—giving families a joyful and dignified way to prepare for the school year ahead.
