Happening in Madison: Fall Restaurant Week 2021




Twice per year, some of Madison’s favorite restaurants participate in Restaurant Week – a special week for locals to try a prix-fixe menu with three courses. This year, from September 19-24, you can enjoy restaurant week to go! Here are this year’s participating restaurants:


Beef Butter BBQ Choose from a $15 lunch with brisket or baby back ribs and two sides, or a $25 dinner for two, including brisket, smoked pulled pork, smoked chicken breast, smoked apple pie baked beans, and white cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese. Sign us up!


Bonfyre American Grille Enjoy a $15 lunch, which consists of a house salad appetizer, a main course of your choice: jambalaya, BBQ chicken sandwich with shoestring potatoes, or the ahi tuna poke bowl, plus a dessert parfait! For dinner, start with an appetizer of grilled bacon wrapped shrimp, choose the $25 chicken curry bowl, $30 herb rotisserie chicken, or $35 miso salmon, and finish with a dessert parfait!


Buck & Honey’s Buck & Honey’s comes with an abundance of options for restaurant week! Enjoy lunch for $15 or dinner for $30, which includes appetizers like firecracker shrimp, sassy curds, soup, salad, or a stuffed mushroom. Main course lunch options include the Hot Comby, Chicken Waldorf Croissant, Italian Beef Sandwich or Berries & Goat Cheese Salad. Dinner options include the Prime Pork Tenderloin with Ravioli, Chicken Parmesan, Flat Iron Steak, or Rainbow Tortellini. Don’t forget dessert – your choice of Chocolate Cake, Bread Pudding or a Cannoli!


Delaney’s Steakhouse

Dinner at Delaney’s ranges from $30-35 during restaurant week. Start off with a Wedge Salad, Caesar Salad, or Bowl of Soup du Jour. Move on to a 6 oz. Filet, Mahi Mahi, or Grilled Pork Tenderloin. Save room for a Hot Fudge Sundae, Tiramisu, or Cream Cheese Mousse!


Liberty Station Enjoy a $35 dinner from Liberty Station, which includes your choice in appetizer, main course and dessert. Appetizers include Tavern Tots, Cheese Curds or the Liberty Salad. Main course choices are the Tavern Burger, ½ lb. Texas Brisket, ½ Carolina Pork Shoulder, or the Boston Cod Fish & Chips. Top it off with a dessert of S’mores Tart or Cinnamon Fried Cornbread! USA! USA! USA!


Liliana’s

Channel your inner Creole for restaurant week at Liliana’s! The $35 dinner includes either an Apple Salad, Lobster Bisque or Chicken & Wild Mushroom Bruschetta for a starter, plus your choice of the Roasted Chicken Wrapped in Heritage Bacon, Braised Short Rib, or Roasted Seitan for your main course! Close it out with the Chocolate Mousse, Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, Key Lime Cheesecake, or Vegan Chocolate Cake.


Mariner’s Inn Plan to spend between $25-35 on dinner at Mariner’s Inn. You’ll enjoy a Shrimp Cocktail, Chef’s Favorite Salad, or World Famous Clam Chowder for your appetizer. Move on to the Classic Surf & Turf, New York Strip Steak, Mariner’s Shrimp or Admiral’s Salmon for your main course, and finish with Betty’s Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse, or Key Lime Pie for a sweet treat!


Nonno’s Ristorante Italiano

The $15 3-course lunch is an absolute steal! Start with a Caesar Salad or Clam Chowder, enjoy your entrée of Farfalle Piemontese, Risotto Primavera, Spaghetti Arrabiata Con Gamberi, or Apollo Alla Parmigiana! Dessert options include a Cannoli or Tiramisu. Your $25 dinner will include an appetizer of Clam Chowder Soup or Involtini Di Zucchini, a main course of Spiedini Di Melanzane, Fettuccine Di Mare, Vitello Alla Parmigiana, or Pesce Spada Alla Puttanesca. Save room for that Cannoli or Tiramisu!


Osteria Papavero For just $30, Osteria Papavero patrons will enjoy a 3-course dinner starting with Minestrone, Bresaola, or Fritto Misto! Main course options include Casunziei, Cacciucco, or Lombatello. Your sweet treat options are Budino Di Caramello, Salame Dii Cioccolato, or Crostata Alla Frutta.


Porta Bella

This downtown Madison favorite provides a $25 3-course dinner! Start with Italian Stuffed Mushrooms, Toasted Ravioli, Porta Salad or the Caesar Salad. For dinner, you’ll have your choice of Old World, Bistecca Milano, Tre Plattis, Shrimp and Scallop Scampi, or Grilled Vegetable Ravioli. Top it off with Tiramisu or White Choclate Raspberry Cheesecake. Yum.


Salvatore’s Tomato Pies With locations on Livingston Street, Monona and Sun Prairie, Slvatore’s is providing an abundance of great options for restaurant week! Lunch is $15 and dinner is $25-35. For lunch, you can enjoy things like the Carnitas Enchilada Soup, a Meatball Bomber, and Apple Pie Crumble Parfait. For dinner, try a Market Salad with a 10” Specialty Pie and Pumpkin Bread Pudding! Smoky’s Club Smoky’s Club is providing a $35 dinner for restaurant week, which includes your choice of Pulled Pork Sliders, Pan Seared Diver Scallops, or Artichoke Heart Croquettes for an appetizer. You’ll enjoy a main course of Thick Cut Pork Chop, Red Snapper, or Beef Tips, plus a dessert of a grasshopper cocktail!


Tavernakaya/Umami

Last but not least, Tavernakaya/Umami is providing a $15 lunch that may look like a first course of Miso Soup, a second course of Veggie Spring Rolls, and a third course of General Tso’s. The $25 dinner might consist of a Pork Belly Bun, Spicy TK Miso Ramen, and Mochi Ice Cream. What a deal!


We’re lucky enough to live in a city with hundreds of great restaurants…it becomes difficult to possibly try them all!
