We're kicking off a series of Team Spotlight features so you can better know our team, and our Employee Spotlight today is on our amazing Buyer Specialist, Brogan Baker! Let's get to know Brogan a little bit:
1. Before working at Hansen Home Team, what is the most interesting/unique job you've had?
The most interesting job I had was a hockey coach for summer camps with youth hockey players. You heard something new everyday and it was a blast.
2. Describe a typical day in your life.
A typical day starts out with waking up to some coffee and then going to the gym. Come back to the apartment and get ready for work. Go to work for the day, and ideally end the day with some showings. Then come home and hang out with my girlfriend and watch some sports.
3. What is your favorite movie quote?
"Put that coffee down, coffee is for closers only!" - Glengarry Glen Ross.
4. Favorite food?
Pizza with Ranch. I can eat it every meal.
5. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would be cast as you?
It would depend what kind of movie genre it was...but I would probably go with Brendan Schaub.
6. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Biggest pet peeve is disorganization. I have to always have everything organized in a certain way, no matter what it is.
7. Your favorite professional sports team?
New England Patriots! Tom Brady is the GOAT.
8. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
This sounds corny but I would love to learn how to grow businesses like Marcus Lemonis (The Profit). It's crazy how he can take any type of business and find the root of all their problems. Its also crazy that he grown his net worth to now over 900 million!
9. What does your desk look like?
My desk is pretty neat. I don't like clutter and when I am done with a sheet of paper or folder, I put it where it needs to go.
10. What do you love most about your job?
I love being independent. We are all one team and we work great together, but I like being able to get work done on my own time and being able to create my own schedule. There are some days I just need to go golf 18 with some friends or clients, and what I love is that it's considered "working". Real estate is a job where just being face to face with people and being their friends is where your business grows. So it doesn't matter what you're doing, but just be with people all the time and let them know what you do!
